1 Jun. Easily made Telegraph Creek despite leaving after 10am. Ride into here was really quite uninteresting – just more forest, but I bet it is beautiful in autumn. Starting to see wild life on the side of the road now – mostly black bear eating the grass. Telegraph Creek has seen better days. The town is on the banks of the Strikine river which right now is in full snow melt. Quite a number of people staying here tonight – the motorcyclists made all the noise and I caught up with the Californians from yesterday plus an Aussie doing a years ride around the Americas.
